How it began
The theme for my blog for now is obvious. Aya Hirano has been my latest Otaku idol craze.
Aya Hirano is the beautiful twenty year old Japanese seiyū who’s rise in popularity started when cast in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and continued in Nana and Death Note. She is still on the rise as the lead role in Lucky Star and the much-anticipated season two of Haruhi. (From ayahirano.net)
How it started? It all started when MavericK-kun spread Haruhiism to me and Wh-kun. I went to watch the first episode of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. My first reaction was what the crap? Then realise the purpose of episode 1 and got hooked for the rest of the series. Then it all went on from a youtube video.
and then…
and more…
Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekiso (The Extravaganza of Haruhi Suzumiya) was a live concert event held at Omiya Sonic City on March 18 2007. It was Aya Hirano’s first concert performance and she tried very hard to give her best. She played the electric guitar, she danced, she sang, she roared the crowd like how Suzumiya Haruhi roared the Otaku world. She is not just a seiyu, but a multi-talented one. Awed by her talents, looks, youth, hyped, and moe factor, it makes me want to know more about her. And this is how it began.
